Except for the year I went to school out in Michigan, I have spent every Easter weekend with my family. We have our traditions and such...especially Easter brunch Sunday morning. But this year my dad is going with Juanita to her son's house to help him move. So, no Easter traditions, nothing.

I have been a bit bummed. I decided to stay here this weekend and not bother to go home to an empty house.

Then last night my dad called. He feels bad about our weekend being cancelled. So on their way to her kid's house, they are going to stop by today and take Amber and I out to lunch/dinner. Well, it's Friday, not Sunday, but it's okay with me. I'm just pleased that he cares!

I love my dad.
